Cruising has been a little show this summer. Hurricane Ivan and then Hurricane Dennis totally destroyed our summertime Pensacola cruising grounds and the marinas that we love. In addition, our cruising has been restricted due $2.75+ per gallon fuel. We have heard that some of our members are buying long paddles and adding sails in order to make boating a little more economical.
Planning in underway for 6th Annual Lake Emfred Cruise to be held in either October or November. The location has been selected, Lake Emfred but we have not figured our the exact date. LSU football plays an important role in scheduling.
